Lawler, Philip F. Lost Shepherd: How Pope Francis Is Misleading His Flock. Washington, D.C. Regnery, 2018. xii + 203 pp. Available at Amazon.com.
At times it appears difficult to keep up with Pope Francis. His words and his actions, both symbolic and sacramental, resemble the unpredictable trajectories of those steel balls on an old pinball machine only there are no sides to make the ball stay in the playing field.
Pope Francis has made it clear he doesnt want to be pinned down. The Holy Fathers forays offer springboards of imagination to secular savants who welcome the collapse of the Church, but his rambling ruminations provide a veritable obstacle course to those faithful trying to live out the faith in tumultuous times.collapse of the Church, but his rambling ruminations provide a veritable obstacle course to those faithful trying to live out the faith in tumultuous times.
American Catholics need their own Church. Just do what Henry VIII did but peacefully. Confiscate all Church property and stop feeding the beast. No more collections until a new hierarchy of the US Catholic Church is established. No man born of woman except Jesus is without sin or infallible. Also get rid of sex abusing priests and the bishops who covered up for them. Turn them over to the authorities. Nobody is above the law.
Please honor the caucus.
The “caucus” designation meets certain standards. Where “Caucus” designation is permitted to exist, it means the thread is for Catholics, who do not impune Catholics and despise the Church.
You are off the reservation, again.
