So, the “intellectuals” in universities think that it’s a great idea to expose young graduates to the illogical ramblings of this lunatic, still. The 20th century was the century of the great, world-wide experiment in the retarded theories of Chomsky and assorted Comunist nuts, and it was a failure everywhere to the exact extent it was implmented.
I would say, “Let him rave on, that others may know him mad”, but I swear he should come with a warning label.
We don’t have NAZIS teaching in our schools. Why in hell do we have Communists, who murdered many times, many times, more than NAZIS?
Demented old coot.
Hell, I thought he was dead—too bad...
This clown is on my Airport List.
L
Rose was the first one I thought of too. As far as I know, she is the only golden girl left alive.
I thought this guy died in the 19th century.
Chomsky? That guy is still breathing wasted air?
In January 1971, Chomsky’s name appears on a list of academics and other influential individuals selected by the Vietcong’s North American allies—under the coordination of Mark Sacharoff of the Fellowship of Reconciliation, who sent the list to Hannah Arendt—to help promote an antiwar message from the Japanese Communist Party. Here is the full list of names: Hans Bethe, Noam Chomsky, David Dellinger, Richard Falk, Marvin E. Gettleman, Mrs. Martin Luther King, Jr., Gabriel Kolko, Robert Lifton, Norman Mailer, Mary McCarthy, J.B. Neilands, Linus Pauling, Sidney Peck, E.W. Pfeiffer, Eugene Rabinowitch, Mark Sacharoff, Susan Sontag, Benjamin Spock, Mrs. Dagmar Wilson. Circulating along with the same list was material promoting a “war crimes” conference (related to John Kerry’s VVAW) to be hosted at an American university being planned by a group that included Richard Falk, Robert Lifton, Peter Weiss, and William Meyers. Many of these names were linked to Soviet, East German, Cuban, and CP activity.
I saw Chomsky speak a couple times in the late 80s, when I was dating a very open-minded and accommodating leftist girl.
I didn’t care much about politics, and didn’t know much about Chomsky, but even then, I thought his arguments seemed to be a giant hairball of half-facts and conspiracy theories. At the time, his bogeyman was Henry Kissinger, with Ronald Reagan being one of Kissinger’s puppets.
meh
Old commies day the same old crap
Was he named for the late Nim Chimpsky, or was the chimpanzee named for him?
This guy was a leftist ass when I first ran across him in the 60s and he has been writing revolutionary crap from his conceited high-horse during my entire adult life. He turns 90 this year. Good time for him to enter a vegetative state.
A true blue, living, breathing Bolshevik Jew who hates Christians.
What else is knew? He is cut from the same mold as Ruth Buzzy Ginsburg, Bernardine Dohrn, Bill Ayers, Morris Dees, Joy “Maud” Behar, Kathy Griffin, etc.
The absolute slimiest of slime.

Liberalism is a chronic, no-cure mental disease.
So the big question is ... why does a Christian college invite a left wing progressive to speak on its campus?
I thought old Chomsky was dead.
St. Olaf's is a small, highly ranked private liberal arts school about an hour or so south of Minneapolis.
It's in the same town as Carleton College, which is where the late US Senator Paul Wellstone was from.
Olaf's is nominally Lutheran, and has a great University choir; but they're both batsh*t leftist. Rich kids from Edina who don't get into Ivy League schools go there or to Macalester in St. Paul...
The fact he was invited to St. Olaf, brings tears to my blue eyes
