My wife’s side is Baptist.
My big beef with them is their eschewing of saints.
I think saints are cool and fun. There’s lots of great stories and history there. They offer many moral lessons.
But no.
Maybe it is the use of the word “fun” that turned them off.
That happens with those people sometimes.
