Catholics are Christians but you knew that, right?
In typical RC overreactionary zeal to defend their church, you missed the point, which is that [baptized] Protestants [according to Rome] are Christians, but the article speaks as if Christianity only consists of Catholicism.
In reality, relative few Catholics as well as liberal Protestants are truly born again, and not all "Bible Christians" are (though they have the highest percentage of regenerate) , and a relative remnant shall be saved.
Fix...
Some Catholics are Christians — but you knew that, right?
Yes I do!
Let's reach the ones who are not. The ones who are relying on works and false sacraments for salvation.
There is a difference.
“Catholics are Christians but you knew that, right?”
But the article focuses on Catholic belief in a primarily Catholic country, and Vatican 2 (I think, skimmed it). But Germany was primarily Protestant, as was the USA - and Germany and the USA have also turned their backs on God!
The wholesale rejection of God in the USA is NOT based on which way a Catholic priest stands. The denial of God that allows legal homosexual marriage, and for men to compete is sports as women, or to shower with women in high school, is NOT rooted in “Dignitatis humanae”, Vatican 2 or “ the abandonment of Latin”!
