Wouldn’t male priests married to a female cut down on the child molesting and homosexuality?
My dad being a rather course tell it like it is sort of person used to say the only way a priest can stay normal is to make use of a nunnery as a harem. I gotta feeling this has gone on somewhere, maybe not as common as perverse sex acts mentioned above.
Let us remember that Our Lord was not married. Holiness is a true love of God which goes a long way in helping one avoid temptation.
