>>In his speech, the Pope told them that climate change was a challenge of “epochal proportions” and said that the world needs to come up with an energy mix that combats pollution, eliminates poverty and promotes social justice.

Yes, we need a power source the celebrates the marriages of transvestites who fight the fascism of police brutality in the wake of socio-economic hardships in the wake of capitalist industrialist activity raising global temperatures!

He’s nothing but a UN Marxist. Sick of him, and really feel sorry for faithful Catholics.

If the Socialist Pope wanted to see poverty eliminated, he be calling for the ousting of despotic dictators who starve their citizens.

Think African nations. Think North Korea.

The impoverished in America are economic refugees from other nations. They come with nothing and no skills. Apart from giving them money (someone else earned), nothing will advance them.

These morons have absolutely no conception of the global scale of the energy industry and the billions of lives it sustains on a daily basis.

I want to see the Catholic Church revert to teaching God’s Word. I almost returned to the faith of my father but, sadly, that’s no longer possible under this pope’s leadership.

So according to this “Poop” he expects that these oil execs can just magically remove all the CO2 from the fuels being burned so as to save the planet from the much dreaded & evil carbon emissions?

Meanwhile, this fool of a pope has no problem flying all over the world in a chartered Alitalia commercial airliner, which as we all know uses huge amounts of jet fuel.

The jet fuel.....where does this communist pope think it comes from? I’ll take fossil fuels for $500, Alex....

Pope pontificates upon topics which he doesn’t have expertise; nevertheless infallible.

Define clean fuel? Wind power kills birds, damming rivers destroys echo systems down river, nuclear creates radio active waste, solar creates hazardous materials through the production of solar cells.

Again, define clean.

This Pope should save his Poop to create natural methane to “power” the Vatican’s kitchen stoves.

Set an example, Frankie.

Don’t like border walls? Then tear down the Vatican’s walls and invite the refugees inside to live.

Set an example, Frankie.

He obviously knows how to express his opinion and to try to influence big decisions.
Then why the hell didn’t he try to stop the f*cking Irish from passing the abortion law?
A - he doesn’t care! He is a leftist. He is using the papacy to proclaim the message that he really loves: the message of liberalism.

nevertheless infallible

Not sure how facetious you're being, but in fact the Pope is as infallible as you or I if he's speaking on global warming or energy policy, which is to say, he's not.

His infallibility extends only to teachings on faith and morals, and only under certain well-defined conditions.

devout freepers to do what they can to defend the beloved leader of their religion

Not many FReeper Catholics are there anymore. I know I'm not. Francis does incredible damage to the Church, to the Papacy, and to vulnerable souls every day he's in office. The sooner it's over, the better.
