I cannot fathom why a person with an 11 year old child and the success and money he had would suicide.
It does not make sense on any level.

I think it does not make sense, either. He may have had significant issues but I do think he absolutely loved his child. People who are significantly engaged with another person(s) don’t usually decide to abandon them.
