Isn't there an IRS rule that says any church involved with a political candidate loses it's nonprofit status?
Of course that rule only applies to Republicans. Rev. Jackson, and Rev. Sharpton, and all de rebrens violate this rule with impunity.
Nothing wrong with stating the facts and that’s what the Vice-President did. My class is studying the Book of Revelation . . . going against God’s Precepts and Principles. . . not a good idea.
A little more bible and less PC might be what hes getting at. Seem some clergy have forgotten just who the advisary and his minions are. This a fight between good and evil. Not lets dont PO folks.
It's an unconstitutional rule that the IRS has never tried to enforce in court. It has never litigated the issue in court because it knows it would lose badly. It occasionally tries to intimidate a church here or there by threatening action but always backs down when challenged. In fact there's a day every year when a national group of pastors challenge this regulation by intentionally and publicly preaching partisan politics from the pulpit just daring the IRS to do something about it. They never have.
