I think I did sense that maybe this was a “remembered” citation, and if I had listened to my alter ego I could have asked. Please do not take this as a “correction” meant to humble you. That was not my intent.

God will bring with Jesus from where, to receive new bodies? Where is Jesus now? Who will God bring with Jesus from where Jesus is now? ... and Paul, since he said to be absent from the body is to be present WITH THE LORD where He is.

You keep stating the dead believers are in heaven already.
When did they get their new, non-flesh and blood/bone bodies?

From my #1082, citing Adam Clarke re "flesh and blood" not in the KOG:

"The apostle is certainly not speaking of flesh and blood in a moral^figurative sense, to signify corruption of mind and heart; but in a natural^{plain-literal} sense; as such, flesh and blood cannot inherit glory, for the reasons already assigned."

Regeneration places your new man, soul-and-spirit, already in Heaven:

¹If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 
²Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Els, the new man resulting from spiritual birth (regenerated) is already in Heaven, seated with/in Christ, and has a life-line securely connected to the present physical husk grappling for control of it with the carnal old man which is, through the imputed righteousness of Christ, now reckoned by God as being dead dead dead.

Rom 6:6,7 AV:
⁶Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,
that henceforth we should not serve sin. 
⁷For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Heb 6:18-20 AV:
¹⁸That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie,
we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold
upon the hope set before us:
  ¹⁹Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast,
and which entereth into that within the veil;
  ²⁰Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 

When that lifeline to Heaven is severed, one's life, one's personality remains in The Holy Presence of God with Christ, and the old lifeless, soulless depersonalized flesh-and-blood body falls into corruption or even atomization, which has no effect on the saved entity now in heaven, but until Jesus' harpadzo of the saints, is without a flesh-and-bone vehicle; but then, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye so to speak, is clothed with that new, permanent, incorruptible, spirit-energized dynamic power of motility, for ever.

There is no soul sleep model that fits in with this preservation of the sentient, God-aware individual. IMHO.

Moreover, if a person fully believes that he/she can lose one's saved status, then doubtless he/she has not totally committed irreversible total trust as a slave of The Christ that has the power to keep His Own possession secure; and therefore, does not have that salvation at all.

Such a person needs to take a personal inventory of his/her true status, and remedy that forthwith by casting ALL one's care upon God's Christ, not retaining one smidgen of any kind of necessity of doing something to stay saved.

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith;
prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves,
how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
(2 Cor. 13:5 AV)
