What’s the POINT of making the sign of the cross?
Does it show everyone how spiritual you are?
What’s the point of harassing Catholics and being an anti Catholic troll? Tk show everyone how superior your spirituality is?
My daughter and son-in-law do not eat a meal without first holding hands with their son and daughter and saying a blessing, whether they are at home, guests at another’s house, or out in public in a restaurant, preferably Chick-fil-a. They do not do this to show how spiritual they are. They do it because they are spiritual, even if it means being scorned or pointed at or made fun of.
In the same way, I make the sign of the cross. It is my way of entering into the presence of God in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
