You know it’s sad. In my profession I’ve seen my friends marry and when I visit them after they’ve had their first child I can see the sadness. I don’t know why but on the surface they seem happy but on a one-on-one not so much.
I think it’s just that life is hard and enjoyment is fleeting ... but recurring.
