The uttermost parts of the north Ezekiel 38

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

וַיַּעֲלוּ עַל־מֶרְחֲבֵי אֶרֶץ וַיָּסׂבּוּ אֶת־מַחֲנֵה הַקְּדׂשִׁים וְאֶת־הָעִיר הַחֲבִיבָה וַתֵּרֶד אֵשׁ (מֵאֵת הָאֱלׂהִים) מִן־הַשָּׁמַיִם וַתּׂאכַל אׂתָם׃

Ezekiel says the uttermost parts of the north, 38:6 and and will cause thee to come up from the north parts 39:2

Ezekiel 38:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

4 and I will turn thee about, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords;

וְשׁוֹבַבְתִּיךָ וְנָתַתִּי חַחִים בִּלְחָיֶיךָ וְהוֹצֵאתִי אוֹתְךָ וְאֶת־כָּל־חֵילֶךָ סוּסִים וּפָרָשִׁים לְבֻשֵׁי מִכְלוֹל כֻּלָּם קָהָל רָב צִנָּה וּמָגֵן תֹּפְשֵׂי חֲרָבוֹת כֻּלָּם

6 Gomer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his hordes; even many peoples with thee.

גֹּמֶר וְכָל־אֲגַפֶּיהָ בֵּית תּוֹגַרְמָה יַרְכְּתֵי צָפוֹן וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲגַפָּיו עַמִּים רַבִּים אִתָּךְ

יְרֵכָה yᵉrêkâh, yer-ay-kaw'; feminine of H3409; properly, the flank; but used only figuratively, the rear or recess:—border, coast, part, quarter, side.

Whenever you have two sections of scripture that seem to contradict you must bring in a third to reconcile the two.

Which brings us to President Trump’s Peace plan for Israel. He recently traveled to Europe to meet with NATO member countries to admonish them to pony up their share of dues. Then he meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin. I don’t know about you but I’d be sceptical about what Trump had to say after meeting with NATO. After all NATO’s mission is largely to contain Russia. But then the Russian delegation were very pleased with the meeting???

Here’s what I think... Donald Trump’s peace plan follows Jeremiah chapter 1.

Jeremiah 1:11 Moreover the word of YHVH came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

12 Then said YHVH unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. 13 And the word of YHVH came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north. 14 Then YHVH said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith YHVH; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands.

15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

Ah, there’s NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the families of the kingdoms of the north

My guess is the peace plan incudes a ‘new’ mission for NATO, to go into Israel to ‘make’ peace between Israel and the Palestinians (See: Deuteronomy 32:21)

Ezekiel 38:7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

Revelation 16:19 Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

The bottom line is that it’s going to be a very interesting Fall Festival Season!

Well, Jeremiah 1 brings Ezekiel 38 and 39 and Revelation 20 together, perfectly...

affliction/tribulation is the same word, צָרָה tsarah
