The Koran is no more of a literary masterpiece than “Mein Kampf”. It is an instruction manual for a very crude form of socialism, and a command and control dictatorship, with the additional trappings of claiming to be an interpretation of the “Word of God”. But in doing so, all the other existing scriptures are proscribed and forbidden to the great number of Muslims.
This is what you get when persons who hear “the voice of God” in their heads, then set down on paper an entirely wrong interpretation of what they THINK they heard.

The quran is largely copied from Torah with the rest of it sewn together by its hellfire, its surety of damnation for infidels and the fact that muslims are allowed to fake out those to be slaughtered later through taqiyya.

Regardless of your non-belief in the Bible, no honest literary expert denies its quality as literature.
On the other hand, no honest literary expert can deny the amateurish mess that is the Book of Mormon, which is an obvious attempt to fake the style of the King James Bible.

The Koran is almost unreadable. I can only attribute its popularity to the fact that most Muslims in the world are illiterate or at least cannot read Arabic.

So short end of it he He marries a Christian (Khadijah) who told him there will come ‘a new prophet’ to continue the teachings of Christianity...he simply took advantage of the situation. He noticed how powerful the Christian faith was., how devoted it’s followers and knew he could use it in a way to unite his people and become their leader and carve out his own empire.....but he needed to be “spiritulized’ to gain their trust that the pagan God they worshipped (Allah) had appointed him as the prophet of the hour.
So thus you have him copy moses trip to the mountain....’seeing’ the unseen....and all the other gobbly goop he then proclaims to his followers.and appoints those to to write for him, (Since he was illiterate)...passages he twisted and bent from the bible and other litterary works of that time.
Presto! Islam was born..and the new Prophet mohammed.
