Took a few of us over 40 years after being terrorized by a Catholic priest in high school to take him down.

The church had apparently moved him several times to new parishes as their solution throughout the 40 years (their useless remedy) we had all lost track of him until contacted by a sharp attorney that wanted to establish the priest was a pervert in his first placement after getting out of the seminary.

The church moved him each time the pressure mounted Only giving the pervert a new place for his old games.

So in the end for us ... taking him down was merely the church coughing up a few bucks for the last crop of kids he had abused.

The priest was not jailed because of his age andt the attorneys choice to not make the young kids suffer through testimony.
Oh, he can’t be around kids anymore nor can he say mass. Yeah, Big deal (not) that was the punishment for someone I’m positive was guilty.

Good luck Chile.....this happened in America and he got away with it.

Except for having to give my dads eulogy in his Catholic Church and visiting saint Peters a few times I’ve never stepped in a Catholic Church again.

If this had been one priest in one place I’d buy the bad Apple premise

To me the church is more the guardian of hell than a way to God.
