Dale is an evil man. He was the Vicar General under O’Brien and was rumored to be slotted in as his eventual replacement.

Dale never admitted to anything more than using “bad judgement,” nothing more. He is truly unrepentant.
St Thomas the Apostle was my parish for 20 years until we moved to Goodyear. Our pastor unit 2002 was Jack Spaulding and he was best friends with Fushek and we would see the two of them together at dinner around town. A few years after Fushek was charged then Father Jack was charged - he was then pastor at Fushek’s old parish! We were blessed with Father Jim Wall )now Bishop of Gallup and then Father John Ehrich as pastors until our move. When Father Jack’s charges came forward I wasn’t too surprised. Something about him was such a showman. Mass was a show under Father Jack - when Father Jim and Father John were there it was reverent and about worshipping God.
