Satan has confused the calendar so you would not observe the correct days. The new calendar was given to us by Rome. The days were named after pagan gods. The months were named after pagan gods. Even the Sabbath was changed to Sunday instead of the 7th Day. Sunday was the day Rome worshiped their sun god. God told us to keep the Sabbath holy in the 10 Commandments. Is it ok to murder now? Oh yeah, abortion. Is it ok to worship idols now? Oh yeah, statues of Mary and other men. The same people that changed the calendar changed the Sabbath.
You're lost among those who preach that salvation is only through recognizing Christ as our Savior unless salvation is only through denying Christ as our Savior.
I realize the pagans and others who deny the New Testament is the Word of God don't like anyone celebrating the birth of Christ but hey, whether it's historically correct is a moot point for you, the pagans, the Satan worshipers, the Jews, and everyone else who denies Christ. The real issue is that such folks hate the very idea of any holiday celebrating the birth of Christ.
Which, of course, is why the argument over the proper day to celebrate Easter starts every year the same way the "argument" over when the celebrate starts every year. Those who deny Christ hate anything that puts Him front and center even if it's a minority who actually celebrate His birth and His crucifixion rather than just taking a day off to party or.
Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of Christ.
If you don't believe Christ is our only way to Salvation, don't celebrate His birth or His death. You go blow a ram or whatever you do on some special day and we'll just continue to remember His birth and thank Him for coming to save us from sin and damnation.
IDK if you are an Adventist, but I agree with what you are saying about Satan changing the calendar.
With the Paul-ine exception that we are free to celebrate Sabbath under the New Covenant in stark contrast to how the Jews had to honor Sabbath under the OT Law.
In case you are an Adventist, I also take umbrage at elevating Ellen White’s words to the level of The Word, if you know what I mean.
