I guess to give Glory to God for the infinitesimal way He confirms His Word and wants us to rejoice in the miracles upon miracles surrounding the birth of His Son?

Remember, God is not a trickster nor a tormentor, He is a straight-shooter who makes His will and His ways and His greatness plain... so even "the little children" can rejoice and appreciate.
