Whenever I see Msgr. Pope's writings I often reflect on the fact that he is writing on the blog owned by the the Archdiocese of Washington: Wuerl's Archdiocese.

I sit here pondering what that must be like. He probably attended the recent DC priests' meeting with Wuerl. I wonder what he heard, what he said, or what he left unsaid.

I feel certain that Fr. Pope suffers awful sadness and anger over the continued revelations of the grave sins committed by the proud, insolent, smooth-tongued deceiver(s) that he often sees in the Sanctuary.

Fr. Pope, seeing what's there, writes what is for our benefit so we can be spiritually strong.

I am grateful for that.

I, also am grateful. Yes, it must be a great challenge to be an orthodox believing priest in that Archdiocese!

Prayers for Monsignor Pope!
