Whatever he does or doesn’t do he needs to do so fast as the laity is not going to lay down on these matters this time around Imo. It may be just wishful thinking on my part, even if so either he acts decisively and directly or the people will leave who are true believers.....no doubt about it.
Perhaps the Pope believes his church can take a lose of people? Or perhaps he’s expecting things to quiet down yet again.
