Thank you for providing that transparent information. I see that Michael went to
Midwestern Baptist College
where the statement of faith implies a Fundamentalist Baptist perspective. Given that background, and the history of its founding by Baptists,
I wonder why First Bible Church is not named Baptist.
Another oddity was that the "Our Pastor" tab showed a picture of Michael and his wife Margaret under the heading "Our Pastors: (plural). Does the faith community regard Margaret as a pastor?
The KING JAMES BIBLE is exclusively used at Midwestern Baptist College
"We believe that the King James Version is the perfect, impeccable, inspired, and preserved Word of God. We believe that inspiration took place when God spoke through holy men of old and that God has preserved His Word to this present moment. The Textus Receptus manuscript from which the King James is translated is the only completely reliable manuscript in existence. Midwestern Baptist College has no other text or version and would not tolerate the use of any other."
Founder - Dr. Tom Malone, Sr.
Midwestern Baptist College stands firmly on Bible Principles:
Authority of the Word of God
Necessity of Soul Winning
Fundamentals of the Faith
Autonomy of the local Church
Imperative of Baptist Distinctives
Personal separation and purity
High standards of ethics and conduct

The plural refers to our multiple pastors. Pastor Veach is the lead pastor, but there are others-including Pastor Dean, who also came from a Southern Baptist background before being saved at the age of 21 I believe. Babylon Bee article.

Yeah, the Bee is one of my favorite satirical sites, although I think it was better under the old owner.
