The pope is calling for clerics to leave the kids alone but he’s somehow OK with the gay mafia continuing to run the church and house their consenting catamites in seminaries and rectories.
The Pope is doing damage control by calling a meeting in six months which he hopes will defuse criticism now and by which times he hopes that the issue will have defused enough that he can either cancel it or go to it as a formality and ensure that nothing comes of it other than a sternly written letter smelling of the perfume of the vatican bishop who writes it down.
