One of my favorite pics from Syria. I just love Mary in the back of a pickup truck. Christian Maaloula was destroyed by US backed rebels, its' nuns kidnapped, and antiquities looted. The Syrian Army and Hezbollah (the guys the US Gov't hates) retook the city, restored the churches, got back some of the stolen treasures, and replaced the giant statue of Mary.
