‘Vice Pope’ Says Cardinal McCarrick’s Homosexual Abuse Was a ‘Private Matter’
Breitbart National Security ^ | 9/19/18 | Thomas D Williams

Papal adviser Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga said last week that Cardinal Theodore McCarrick’s serial sex abuse and the way the pope handled it is a “private matter” that should not be treated as a sensational story.

“Turning a private matter into a bombshell headline that explodes in the world and whose shrapnel does damage to the faith of many people does not seem right,” the Honduran cardinal said in reference to a recent report by the former papal nuncio to the United States.

“I think that a management issue ought to be aired with more serene and objective criteria, not in a negative tone charged with very bitter expressions,” said Maradiaga, who is often referred to as Francis’ “vice pope” because of his position of prominence in the Vatican and his unparalleled influence in the Francis pontificate.

The cardinal’s comments were made in reference to an August 25 report by Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, in which the former nuncio accused Pope Francis of rehabilitating Cardinal McCarrick and elevating him to a position of influence despite knowledge of his serial homosexual abuse over decades.

Bergoglio the Homosexualist has invited numerous queer bishops to the Synod of the Youth. Vigano dropped the dime on them in his ignored letter to the fraud pope. From Cupich to Daddy Warbucks Tobin of Philadelphia all the heretic sodomites will attend the Synod of “Youth” looking for new victims. And of course queer James Martin will give the opening remarks on the joy of sodomy.

My guess, the Pope likes to give oral sex to men. Its just a gut feeling after he protected these guys. I think they have the goods on him.

I think your dead on.

I think fifty percent or more of catholic priests are gay, and they now have one of their own in charge.

For those of us who had respect for the church, its a tragic day. A few years a go, I had a “born again” Christian take a pot shot at the catholic church, in front of me, and it ticked me off. If he did it today, It wouldn’t bother me in the least because he is right. The Catholic church has lost its authority for good reason.

I hate to say it, but financially it might work. He gets a whole new congregation consisting of LGBQT and Post-Modernists/Marxists (including those from China) around the world and keeps all existing assets.

the church runs on the donations of the membership. Counting on angry gays and communists to fund your worldwide operation from the kindness of their hearts is not a sensible strategy.

I think Frankie's model is the Jesuit Catholic Church in South America which is fashioned on Liberation Theology with a large scoop of Marxism.

And as to homo contributions, don't forget that McCarrick was a very successful money man (and I think everyone who knew him knew he was a pervert).

I certainly don't know if Frankie's version of Church can make a financial go of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he attracted a huge amount of homo contributions. Homos have a great deal of money and might just sign up to attend their very own LGBTQ church.

Color me skeptical. As a lifelong catholic I can attest that I have never ... never ... heard anyone discuss homosexuality in any way. It hasn't been denounced once in my roughly half century of attending mass and being educated in catholic schools. A gay man or woman could have attended my chuches for decades and never felt unwelcome or out of place. But they don't go, and they mock the church at every turn with the drag queen nuns and the like.

Their intent is to shatter the church, not join it. Once it's in rubble they will not gather in the square to rebuild it in their own image, in my opinion. Rather they will nod with satisfaction and move on to their next target.

The church will survive but we will soon be, if we are not already, in a schism. Catholics that abide by the teachings of the church versus “Catholics” who want to turn the church into a big version of the liberal Episcopal Church, where anything goes, from openly homosexual clergy to taking no stand on abortion. In the end the traditionalists will win out. It might take a few years or a 100 years. I also look for a orthodox bishop to be selected as the next pope. In other words the polar opposite of leftist Jesuit Bergoglio. One who will start off by purging the church of rampant homosexuality.

I'd like to think that's how it will play out but the thing about this current situation is that I now see the Vatican at the highest levels as being infested with "clerics" who are, first and foremost, in the job because of the gay lifestlye it affords them. I don't view them as godly men who will ever do the right thing. And since they are in control now (as witnessed by the ascent and ongoing protetction of Francis) I don't see them suddenly putting in a conservative reform minded Pope. No way, no how. Another leftists who isn't actively part of the gay sex romp crowd is probably the best we can realiusticly hope for.

Yes, I'm now quite cynical about the church leadership. It's been causing me great distress.

The financial impact of this, combined with Western demographic trends, will reduce the Church to that foretold by Cardinal Ratzinger after Vatican II: Small communities scattered about, while most of the infrastructure is closed down/sold off.

Or will Ratzinger's small church be the church remaining when the active homosexuals are purged from the hierarchy? Or are we both right?

Bono dedicates a song to Cardinal McCarrick (seriously):

I assume that is what Ratzinger meant; the true believers would remain, while the chaff (including the deviants) would fall away.
