A few years ago, a friend of mine told me his fiancé was pregnant. He was planning to confess his sin at church on Sunday. His fiancé was afraid to go that day.

I told kid him that while I hadn’t been attending the church that long, my impression was that when he confessed, there would be a sharp intake of collective breath and within a minute, the women of the church was uldnsorrundnhis fiancé and give her a hug.

Sin happens. So does forgiveness.

Wow, spell check obviously failed.

Surrounded. The word is surrounded.

And that’s exactly what happened. It took a lot of bravery but she was there.

Uh ...sin is committed.....forgiveness is committed.....volitional acts....life sucks when you disobey God’s laws...God grants forgiveness but the ramifications of the sins may remain
...God doesn’t necessarily cure herpes for instance...or remove an unplanned human from the memory or the earth...
Sad but true facts.
