Glad to hear about this book. As someone who grew up in SF, I can confirm that people I know have been talking about this subject for years. There has been an Orwellian memory-holing of the fact that Jim Jones was extremely close to many prominent Democrat politicians. I remember hearing years ago that Mayor Moscone basically owed his election to voter fraud perpetrated by the JIm Jones and his countless disciples/cult members who voted early and often all over down.
“... all over town.”
The Moscone/Milk murders catapulted Dianne Feinstein onto the national scene - and we are still not rid of her.
