I’ve always thought it interesting that all four gospels have Jesus revealing his resurrection to a woman, even knowing of her coming struggle to be believed.
I have an interesting book on “Mary Magdalen: Myth and Metaphor”. Not an overtly religious text, but in it I’ve slid a program for “A Eucharist Observing The Feast Day Of St. Mary Magdalene” 24 JUL 1996.
It was at a radical Episcopal church I no longer attend, but it was an okay service, if one could keep track of who was actually being prayed to.
Glad you’re on the road to wellness once more, as evidenced by your posting, which I so enjoy reading every day.
Happy Birthday once more.
Be yet the stronger in His Providence.
Amen.
Your strength over the years has been inspirational. You just never ever quit. God is pleased, beloved.
