God constantly reveals himself. “My Sheep hear my voice” he said. If you don’t are you expecting to? Point them towards spending time listening, reading and praying. Faith is not a pacifists pursuit. You have to fight for it. Part of that fight is to learn what God’s voice sounds like so that you can distinguish it from every other voice that would take you: including the voice of unbelief! Do the work of God:

27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

You dont get this by tying to sort out every angst ridden problem but by focusing on God. Eventually every question is answered in Him!

From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subject to violence, and the violent lay claim to it.

Well put. This is my experience as well that God is constantly revealing himself. He often knocks me right over the head!!! lol. I’m very grateful for it. There have been times He hasn’t been so obvious (at least I couldn’t see.) But life unfolds and years later sometimes things becomes clear about the desert times.
