Ooh,cool! I wonder how our brothers and sisters in the east feel about the ECUSA now calling the Holy Spirit “She”? And making the apostles “fishers of PEOPLE”?
The US Episcopal denomination (TEC) accounts for something like 2% of the world-wide Anglican Communion, of which probably 90% are orthodox, conservative Christians. Think about that...the VAST majority of Anglicans in the world are bible-believing Christians (even though denominations like TEC are not).
Due to missionaries over the last 200 years, most of that 90% are in the developing world. There are more Anglicans in the world than any other Protestant group. An agreement with orthodox Anglicans (which again, is the vast majority) and the Eastern Orthodox is a big deal.
