“All I did was quote from one of YOUR pope’s writings.”

Nope you tried to claim that what you posted meant something it did not. You appear to be driven by hatred and bigotry, declaiming about that you do not understand as if you were infallible.

Bigotry and hatred should have no place here. And yet you post slimey hatred filled rants regularly. Odd, very odd.

To which I repost:

Furthermore, we declare, we proclaim, we define that it is absolutely necessary for salvation that every human creature be subject to the Roman Pontiff.

Then perhaps, narses, you should enlighten everyone as to the true meaning of the writing.

You appear to be driven by hatred and bigotry, declaiming about that you do not understand as if you were infallible.

Perhaps you should look in the mirror. The history of your posts against Christians is well attested in these forums.

Bigotry and hatred should have no place here. And yet you post slimey hatred filled rants regularly. Odd, very odd.

Coming from you this is comical....but you continue to epitomize what I've observed in these discussion that it is usually, though not always, the Roman Catholic who first resorts to profanity and/or the personal attack when the argument is against them.

I have seen good folks try for years - casting pearls comes to mind. Your cut-n-paste pretend is boring, you apparent hatred palpable and your ignorance boring. Most folks have enough sense to see through your blind propaganda efforts.

Didn't think you had anything of substance to offer.

From the Catholic Encyclopedia online....

In the registers, on the margin of the text of the record, the last sentence is noted as its real definition: "Declaratio quod subesse Romano Pontifici est omni humanae creaturae de necessitate salutis" (It is here stated that for salvation it is necessary that every human creature be subject to the authority of the Roman pontiff ). This definition, the meaning and importance of which are clearly evident from the connection with the first part on the necessity of the one Church for salvation, and on the pope as the one supreme head of the Church, expresses the necessity for everyone who wishes to attain salvation of belonging to the Church, and therefore of being subject to the authority of the pope in all religious matters. https://www.catholic.org/encyclopedia/view.php?id=11800

You continue to prove my observation of the Roman Catholic's response when confronted with facts they don't like.

Yawn, your cut-n-paste impresses no one, your apparent bigotry and hatred reeks though. And on the Lord’s Day. Truly pathetic.

All I'm doing is quoting from Roman Catholic sources....seems you can't handle it.

Again.....you might want to go check that mirror.

From what I've seen from you....you seem to hate your own denomination.

Once again you are mistaken. I happen to love the One, Holy Church founded by the Son of God.

However, it appears to be you who hates that very Church.

You certainly seem to hate your pope....hence you are in disagreement with Unam Sanctam. It’s really a simple argument.

“You certainly seem to hate your pope....”

According to St Pope Pius X, Catholics are to love the pope and this allocution explains what that looks like:

Once again you are mistaken. Stop attempting to mind-read. You physically can’t do it and it’s not allowed on this forum.

Your ongoing hostility toward your pope is well attested to on these forums. It is not a matter of opinion.

I’ve noticed a number of Roman Catholics like to appeal to the mods to remove posts they don’t like.
