He obviously began to realize that his conversion of the Church to an LGBT socialist organization was meeting with some serious resistance. He thinks he can deflect that resistance by pretending to act like he's a conservative Catholic and slip back into a gradual Fabian-style transformation of the Church.

I think everyone has noticed by now that what this pope says and what he does are always almost the exact opposite.
This should NOT be about letting active homosexuals sneak around and hope nobody notices.
Start by cleaning out the Bishops and Cardinals who are known homosexuals.
Then the homosexual priests will recognize they have no protection and will be subject to scrutiny.
