No don’t sell them. They invite us to lift our spirits up from an oppressive, horizontal secularism. The modernists construct some of the ugliest buildings and banal art in human history. We need the great works of art to inspire civilization to aspire to rise back up out of this dark age. To say we should just hawk sacred art for passing lucre is to concede to the liberal humanist error of placing the body above the soul and the material ahead of the spiritual.
