And how did this person know what was coming?God still talks to man even in this day and age. He will talk to any of us/you if we/you get right and earnest with Him. He still answers prayer and performs miracles just as He did in Old Testament times. Get down on your knees and ask Him.

Lot is one of my favorite persons in the Bible:
In the Old Testament, seen against the background of Law, he appears weak and sinful.
In the New Testament, seen against the background of Grace, he is called a righteous man.
That gives me comfort.
