The Maryland Province Jesuits, a Catholic religious order with priests serving throughout the Washington area and across eight states, released a list Monday of priests in the order who have been credibly accused of abusing children since the 1950s.

The list includes five living Jesuits, three who left the order, and five who have died.

“We are deeply sorry for the harm we have caused to victims and their families. We also apologize for participating in the harm that abuse has done to our Church, a Church that we love and that preaches God’s care for all, especially the most vulnerable among us,” the Rev. Robert M. Hussey, leader of the Maryland Province Jesuits, wrote in a letter accompanying the detailed list of names and accusations. “The People of God have suffered, and they rightly demand transparency and accountability. We hope that this disclosure of names will contribute to reconciliation and healing.

It seems they are naming a few dead and retired Jesuits but are ignoring the current corruption in the Jesuit order.

I received a similar e-mail letter from the Jesuit high school that I graduated from. There was a list of names of Jesuits who taught there. None of them did their buggering at my old school, according to the list. Fortunately I did not have any of them as teachers.

I wonder what other Jesuit high schools across the country sent out similar letters last week.

The Pacific Northwest chapter of the Roman Catholic Church’s Jesuit order has agreed to pay $166.1 million to settle 524 abuse claims in a five-state area, attorneys said on Friday.

Gee, looks like more than 10 to me. And in just one chapter.

Jesuits seem to have a hard time telling the truth. It's always some other motive with them.

Meanwhile they accept the worldly view that it’s OK to be a sodomite. The mere hint that they’re more likely to be child molesters is abhorrent to them. Truth is abhorrent.

I don't see the problem. Here's the list:

1) Five currently living members of the order.
2) Three individuals who are still alive, but have left the order.
3) Five individuals who have died.

I graduated from a Jesuit high school and university. I have not gotten a letter or email from them except for more money.

It’s gotten so tiresome to hear all these stories.

I’m a Catholic and I feel like my mind is being molested.

Hope Rome wakes up soon. They’ve already lost too many people. I’m keeping the faith but the hierarchy needs to clean house badly.

I was raised catholic and went to Catholic school. Left the church when I was about 18 and became an evangelical Christian.

Found out a few years ago, the main priest from my high school was buggering kids.

In typical fashion, he got transferred to a school for the deaf. I presume there was less chance of his getting caught since most of the deaf kids couldn’t speak unless they had in interpreter and the interpreter could have misinterpreted.

The local parish priest was caught up in the first wave of AIDS deaths.

And then there are the nuns. A nun in my grade school went to jail for physical and mental child abuse. Everyone knew it was happening but the parents were all too afraid of her to call the police. The rest of them followed her lead but she was the real professional abuser. The rest were just plain nasty.

Aren’t the Jesuits also into liberation theology?

“I’m a Catholic and I feel like my mind is being molested.”

This article is by the fakenews Washington Compost, so let’s look for the distortions.

The homosexuals who are responsible for the vast majority of these crimes have been trying to escape culpability by casting the blame upon “pedophiles.”

Pedophilia and homosexuality are not the same thing, they hasten to remind us. “Gay” men are perfectly harmless and trustworthy, they say. Only pedophiles molest children, so go after them and leave us alone.

Problem is, very, very few of the victims of these crimes are children. They are overwhelmingly teen-age boys and young men. What that means is that the Church does not have a major pedophile clergy problem; what the Church has is a homosexual clergy problem.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that the problem is chiefly men who suffer from pedophilia. We could chase pedophiles for a millennium without putting a dent in the problem. The main problem is men who suffer from same-sex attraction disorder, i.e., ordinary, garden-variety homosexuals.

I notice that the Wash Compost did not specify the age range that they’re talking about.

Sure, go after the pedophiles, too, but don’t be fooled into letting the homos skate.

Yep. They seem to have gone full Marx-tard.

Not a Catholic, but raised Lutheran and then switched to Baptist Church in late 1980’s where a few years later the preacher was uncovered as a homosexual pedophile who was himself abused as a child by his local priest when he was an alter-boy in the Catholic Church. This sin is now rampant in our society regardless of faith.

I won’t argue with you there.

In my limited experience, I’m familiar with a couple evangelical churches that discovered abuse.

The police were called immediately and the perpetrators prosecuted, not quietly transferred or allowed to continue.

The nun of which I spoke was an absolute ogre. Yet everyone let her continue her little reign of terror over the children and parents.
