Hate being the pessimist, but does anyone doubt that Bergoglio will beat the rap here? There’s no mechanism to hold him accountable, and there’s no will to do so among the world’s bishops. He and his destructive agenda will roll along unscathed, probably for many years to come.

I have no idea if Benedict can revoke his abdication, or what would happen if he tried. But as I see it, that’s the only hope left.
He’ll be held accountable.
