(this question would immediately be asked, and the Catholic church then bashed over and over again, if this thread was about a liberal Catholic university demanding "LGBTQ rights" for their students. I’m Catholic but hang out a lot with a Methodist church that volunteers at Walter Reed.
They are into LGBTQ and illegal aliens. The Pope is pushing for globalism....This ain’t good.
Consulting Scripture to find a defense of homosexual “marriage” is a dead-end of epic proportions.

Just about every church should consider amending their LGBTQ policies. It’s very simple. If a policy is in conflict with scripture (the literal word of the Bible), it should not be part of church policy.
I have heard the FUMC may split soon. The most conservative of the churches are in Africa.
