[Catholic Caucus] Is Pope Francis not just a Heretic, but a Apostate?

Is Pope Francis not just a Heretic, but a Apostate?

Editor Rod Pead of the United Kingdom Christian Order magazine posed the question:

Is Pope Francis not just a heretic, but a apostate?

Pead in the January edition article "Faithless" goes over a laundry list of Francis's errors starting with Jorge Bergoglio's quotes against Jesus Christ's Great Commission "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations":

"1 October 2016: 'There is a very grave sin against ecumenism: proselytism.' Twelve days later... 'Proselytism is strongest venom against path of ecumenism'... on 18 November 2016... 'I repeat, proselytism among Christians is a sin.'"

"... [I]f one accepts the validity of both Benedict's resignation and Bergoglio's election (thoughtful Catholics are split on the reasonable arguments pro and con)."

"... [And Francis's] outrageous 'magisterial' statements on faith (e.g. there is no Catholic God; doctrinal security exists no more; he who claims to have all the answers does not have God within him; proselytism is nonsense; atheists can go to heaven; etc.)."

"'... Bergoglio [is not] merely a heretic [but] an apostate because he adheres to a system that rejects the possibility of religious truth and the objective moral Law'?"

"... We look forward to that endgame corrective by Almighty God, in His good and providential time... determined and declared by dutiful cardinals, [that] will end our Jorgean nightmare."

Maybe this "providential time" is coming for today LifeSiteNews reported that Cardinal Raymond Burke repeated what he said in 2016:

"But it is true that, for classical commentators, a pope who departs from his office in dogmatic questions, that is to say, who is guilty of heresy ceases to be the Pope, automatically."
(LifeSiteNews, Cdl. Burke: Pope Francis' response to abuse crisis is 'more confusing than anything,'" January 14, 2019)

Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church. Pray an Our Father now that Cardinal Burke and other cardinals not just talk, but act.

Cdl. Burke: ‘Synodality’ suggests some kind of ‘new church’ where pope’s authority is destroyed

“Is Pope Francis not just a heretic, but an apostate?”

Good question. I vote for “an apostate,” since Bergoglio is doing more than twist the faith. He is regularly addressing people with no faith.

Now, God the Father is "maternal" in francischurch.

Pope Francis' General Audience: English Summary - January 16, 2019

Indeed, there is also something maternal about this love of the Father, which accompanies and nurtures the development of our new life in Christ as his adoptive sons and daughters.

Actually, there's nothing wrong about solidly New Testament maternal imagery. Jesus said He is like a mother hen who wants to gather her chicks, like a housewives that wants to find the lost coin; Paul says God the Father is the One "in Whom we live and move and have our being" -- an image pregnant with meaning, if I ever saw one.

This is never, however, used as a way to re-identify God. God is called Father 255 times in the New Testament. Ther's a good reason for that.

The problem is that with this verbally incontinent, wilfully errant, Peronist pope of ours, you never know if he's going to go beyond Gospel imagery into full-fledged Gaia Goddess worship, which is just a disaster waiting to happen.

He's always careening around corners with no brakes. I find it so maddening.

Francis was talking about God, the Father, not God, the Son. Do you have scripture quotes where Jesus referred to His Father having a maternal nature?

Jesus never taught about a maternal nature of God the Father!

After all, God was His literal Father -- and Mary was His literal Mother.

But where did Mary get her maternal nature? From God, of course: God, who is the giver of every good gift and the Creator of all that exists. If maternity did not exist in God, it could not exist at all.

This shouldn't surprise anyone, because the Creator of male and female caused both to bear His image (Genesis 1:27; 5:2; etc.) and both to share His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).

In the beginning “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27).

So both male and female reflect the attributes of God and together we see a fuller representation of God’s character.

Genesis 5:2 explains: “(God) created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind (Heb. Adam) in the day they were created.” God called Adam and Eve together Mankind which is the same Hebrew word translated Adam. God is Spirit (John 4:24) and together the male and female reflect more completely the spiritual attributes of God.

The feminists and the Mother-Goddess people push this way too far, because they ultimately don't want to sanctify male and female, but rather, to abolish them.

Notice how the latest iteration of feminist sexuality is the gender dysphoric girl, who starts out despising masculinity and then turns on a dime and decides she is truly masculine inside. Like, "Men are intrinsically evil, and I have a right to *be* one."

The total Ms. is a total mess.
