Another reminder that, in spite of China’s free market reforms in recent years, that it is still a totalitarian dictatorship.
I font know why anyone would want to visit China when they treat their people so horribly.
Just humanistic, murderous, left-wing, totalitarians, doing what humanistic, murderous, left-wing, totalitarians, have always done, and will always do.
Now, all they need to figure out, is how to eliminate that pesky parliamentary government in DC, so they can have it on a global scale.
I live in a town which has an international flight safety school. There are 5 young Chinese pilots in training that come to my church every Sunday. The church is Anglican and they say it is like the church they attend at home. Three are baptized and take communion. The others go up for a blessing. One of the young men bought the priest a red stole with Chinese writing on it, which he wore.
I am completely fascinated by this whole thing and wonder what their future is when they return to China.
Democrats have the same limtus test for judicial nominees. If you’ve been to church in the past 10 years, “the dogma” still lives within you and thus you are unfit for federal office.
I pray another Tiananmen Square is coming for China down the road, with a better result this time. Imagine if only we had the Internet back in 1989.
Revelation 13:16-18 New International Version (NIV)
16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
Jeez, the Chinese are Johnie-come-latelies; Google, Facebook and Twitter are way ahead of the Chinese on setting up Social Credit Systems.
Way ahead and these three organizations are definitely using their SCSes.
I’ve been hearing about this.
A missionary report given at our church indicates increased persecution of Christians in China right now. Not able to meet at places they once were, having to arrive and leave in staggered bunches so as to not arouse the suspicion of authorities, etc.
They need prayer.
If today’s democratic party had their way this would be happening in America.
In the Soviet Union one needed ‘papers’ to travel outside of the local area. The lovely Socialist Republic did not issue ‘papers’ to a large percentage of the populace, thereby controlling most everyone. If one were awarded what amounts to an internal passport, and one did or said something the lovely Socialists did not like, one’s passport, ‘papers’ were revoked. Many prominent democRATS have often expressed their admiration for the former USSR, and the Chicoms. What a Surprise.
