By the way, you are correct here. Just that the pro life organizations spend all their time, energy, and money in areas that do little to no practical good.
I’ve seen it with our own local pro life people. Most are women, but they spend 99% of their time defining the problem and the other 1% fighting a ghost.
All the while avoiding the real monster.
You are so wrong. I don’t know where you are from, but here in Pa. pro-life women are totally hands -on. We have groups like Birthright, who provide everything from counseling to rides to the OB clinic, baby clothes, cribs Etc... We have Speakers Bureaus, going out to the High Schools, Civic groups, Churches to discuss the issues. We show videos of fetal development to interested groups. We run telephone services to listen to and advise any girl or woman with a problem pregnancy. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, I did all these things as a pro-life warrior, all the while raising my own brood of eight beautiful children.
That works for friends and family. People she knows and respects.
It doesn’t work for a news organization. If they come off as preachy and judgemental they are going to be ignored.
It must also be obvious that this news site is a site that serves those that are already converted. It not primarily a site that is designed to convert people to the cause.
LIfeSite is set up to get the people that believe in Life active and pointed in a useful direction.
The Catholic higherarchy is under extreme pressure right now it is a good time to exert pressure on the Bishops to take action against Catholic politicians that ignore Catholic values.

Yes, absolutely.
We have heard with increasing frequency from the local Bishop on various matters concerning the Church at large, in particular the sexual abuse scandal. It is highly unusual for the Bishop to make himself directly heard more than once a year, so this is truly significant.
When you say “extreme pressure”, that is not an overstatement.
The question is; who will the Bishops listen too?
The Rich, wealthy politicians or the people of the Church and God.
I’m not taking any bets by the way.

I will add that if God has to intervene and straighten out the Church (apparently He does), it won’t be pretty.
It’s already pretty ugly with the defrocking of Cardinal McCarick.
I don’t think a Cardinal has ever been defrocked before.
Unfortunately, his bishop will be shipping him off to some hovel until his indoctrination is complete.
That has tumbled downhill!
