AMERICA Prayer Vigil, March 21, 2019 [prayer]

G R A T I T U D E

Father God,
Lord of angel armies, hear our prayer!

Eternal Father of power, might and justice, You Are Perfection. You are the perfect musical tone, the perfect sensation, the most sublime taste, the ideal thought, the ineffable vision. You speak to us through all matter, and perfectly through Your Word, which we but barely understand. Yet day after day, year after year, Your Word comes true. As we grow in studying Your design for past, present and future, Your artistry and engineering of Creation and events becomes clearer.

And so today we thank You, Father, for the glories of Your Being, Your Mind, Your Heart of mercy for us miserable sinners, who are seeing only dimly, but praying to Your Grace, “less of us, more of You.”

In these times of stress and turmoil for our nation and the entire world, we thank You that we have a strong captain Trump and co-captain Pence at the wheel of the ship of state. We thank You that the civil war being waged in our nation does not involve mass bloodshed at this time. We thank You for the remnant of patriots willing to fight in cyberspace and through whatever means now available to preserve the U.S. Constitution. We thank You for the dozens of originalist judges being placed one by one around the nation by our President and the majorities in the Senate. We thank You for the new Attorney General, William Barr, and ask Your conviction, protection and guidance upon him as he reveals the claims and counterclaims of corruption in our government. And we thank You, Father, that we are still free to proclaim our Christian faith, even as a fight is upon us.

And so we pray for endurance, for faith, for the strength to continue bringing the Good News to the unsaved, especially our lost family members who can see the testimony in our lives with their own eyes, that they may bear witness to their children, friends and neighbors. “Yes, my (sister, brother) was a hell-raiser, and sometimes so depressed I thought I’d lose (him, her); but since (she, he) got involved with this Jesus stuff, (he, she) is a different person—calm and optimistic, no matter what happens—even trouble, where somebody else would have given up.”

In this Lenten season, let us give up these things: fear, pessimism, complaining, doubt, timidity, indifference, or hypocrisy. Let us gather into our baskets these things: hope, faith, encouragement, endurance, discernment, obedience to Your Spirit, and good fellowship.

Let us never stop being grateful, Lord, or counting it all joy when the world rejects You in us, as it rejected Your Son who died for our sins. Let the Good News of salvation reach every ear and a harvest of hearts this Lent, bringing comfort, peace, assurance and wisdom to every citizen, parent, pastor, congregant, wanderer, governor, legislator, judge, first responder, military and DoD worker, professor, teacher, businessperson, media personality or chieftain, every child and every elder, rich or poor, yellow, red, brown, black, and white. May all rejoice at the realization of the perfect Trinity, Jehovah the Lord our God, the Messiah Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit here among us!

LORD, please hear the prayers offered by Albion Wilde and others here.
Our nation is in need of You.
We are blessed that You heard our prayers and presented us a warrior to fight for us.
We pray he will do Your will in eliminating the moles which make the foundation of this nation highly unstable.
Please give him the necessities to erase Socialism, Satan’s curse, from this world.

As always, we pray for our brethren, ill and injured, that they be healed in spirit, mental, and physical health.
