I like you have never been a woman.
I do consider myself a normal man.
I have never sexually assaulted a woman. The only woman I have ever had sex with is my wife.
Sexual urges can be controlled just like the urge to eat, sleep, defecate, urinate or speak.
One thing that I could add is that the priest in question is 72. This man of advanced age may be affected by the early stages of senility. Senility in men often causes them to lose their sexual inhibitions.
Thank you for confirming the point I made in Post #3.You're absolutely correct to observe that the urge to eat...sleep...urinate can be controlled. And,BTW,you forgot to mention "breathe". But picture yourself being informed,at age 30 (just to pick an age at which a man might be ordained) that you'll never again be able to breathe...eat...etc. I made the same point about about sexual needs when I said (in Post #3) "for his *entire* life".

Yes,my Dad lived to 88 and in the last few years of his life he experienced a steep, and heartbreaking, decline in his physical health *and* his brain functioning. For the last year or so of his life he started doing things that he never would have done in a million years when he was neurologically intact.I've seen brain deterioration in the elderly...up close and personal.
