its always very difficult to deal with these kinds of situations, especially on campuses.... but it does appear that Franciscan may wish to re-double their morals screening efforts in their hiring process? (this would seem to be the best solution but it is extremely difficult to assess employment candidates, more or less predict how they might turn out several years downstream....)
at any event, these events are disheartening here....
especially since this is Franciscan, a college I’ve sent or recommended many students to....because of its traditional respect for moral values
Have to agree somewhat, anonymous comments are total crap. If you have any standing in the institution and are credible in your opinions have the common guts to say what you mean openly.
We’re in an age of cowards hiding behind anonymous message boards. I believe Anonymity has its value, it also is not very credible much beyond the soundness of the text and the credible sources it cites.
But if you are speaking on your own authority and experience, have the guts to put your name down.
I must let they know WHY I've stopped.
Since they invite me to lunch when they're in town, I will be sure to accept the next invitation.
