But Pope Francis says “sins below the belt” are “the lightest”...

I am stirring the pot, here, but Pope Francis speaks for many...

It seems to me Wesley is writing a criticism of the book and its author, not a recommendation or endorsement.

Correct.

FR excerpting rules prevented posting more of Wesley's scathing criticism.

It is worth the click to read the original article on Christianity Today.

In her new book, Shameless: A Sexual Reformation, Bolz-Weber is out to set Christians free from the angst and humiliation churches have often foisted on them because of their sexual proclivities and behaviors.

Rule #1:

Never, ever, under any circumstances should you trust a woman with a hyphenated name.

With one notable exception: Kh. Frederica Matthews-Green, respected Orthodox Christian author and wife of Fr. Gregory Matthews-Green.

I’m not saying she looks cool. I’m saying a lot of lefties would think that, & might condescend to show up in Hope’s of having a more groovy experience.

Aren’t a lot of churches watering down the liturgy & bringing in rock bands? She’s just a more obvious example.
