I'm old enough to remember his Sunday evening gospel show on television. That was a wonderful time when television did not attempt to disrupt families, religion, morality or the United States Constitution.
During one of our Easter services, a young college-age man in our church gave a truly beautiful piano rendition of this great old hymn. I was amazed that anyone his age even knew about it. Gives me hope for the future.
