Heavenly Father
As the National Day of Prayer approaches on May 2nd, may we humble ourselves and pray and repent of our personal and national sins.
We confess sowing division, as victim groups and special interests are pitted against one another. And weve reaped its rotten fruits: hate, strife, rage, entitlement, chaos, discord, envy, jealousy, bitterness, arrogance. Lord, have mercy.
But You, Lord, have the balm to heal us in Your Son, who said in John 13:34:
And may we consider the words from a former president, a man of faith, Ronald Reagan, who gave advice to complement this new command:
Give Your people a heart of repentance. May we seek Your face. Know Your Word. Not just be hearers, but doers. Fill us and empower us with Your Spirit, so we may reflect Your Light in a dark world.
Grant President Trump and his staff Your wisdom and spiritual discernment. Grant them strength and courage to do the right thing. Protect them from the evil one and the enemy within.
Transform virtue signaling wokeness into a powerful Great Awakening of Your Spirit to bring healing in our land. And if it be Your will, may America become the nation You intend her to be.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Amen.

Joining all in prayer.

FATHER GOD,
Thank You for the umbrella of protection You have given us PSALM 91. We stand upon Your Promises of rest, peace, protection, authority over evil spirits (in JESUS’ Name), blessing, and salvation for all who rest in Your shadow.
In JESUS’ Name we pray. Amen.
Psalm 91
1
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3
For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4
He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5
Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6
Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7
Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8
Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.
9
If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10
no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11
For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.
12
They will hold you up with their hands
so you wont even hurt your foot on a stone.
13
You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14
The Lord says, I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
15
When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
16
I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.
Joining You in Prayer, Dear NEWwoman, in Jesus Holy Name.
God Bless America.
Amen and thank you.

He Hideth My Soul - Guy Penrod
A wonderful Saviour is Jesus my Lord
A wonderful Saviour to me
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
Where rivers of pleasure I see
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
That shadows a dry, thirsty land
He hideth my life in the depths of his love
And covers me there with his hand
And covers me there with his hand
A wonderful Saviour is Jesus my Lord
He taketh my burden away
He hodelth me up and I shall not be moved
He giveth me strength as my day
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
That shadows a dry, thirsty land
He hideth my life in the depths of his love
And covers me there with his hand
And covers me there with his hand
When clothed in His brightness
Transported I rise
To meet Him in Clouds of the sky
His perfect salvation, His wonderful love
I’ll shout with the millions on high
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
That shadows a dry, thirsty land
He hideth my life in the depths of his love
And covers me there with his hand
And covers me there with his hand
Joining in praise, thanksgiving, and praise to our Saviour. Amen
Amen.

Oh Lord, as a nation, may we repent for turning our back on You? May we once again be One Nation Under God?

Praying with you in Heartfelt Agreement.
