I hope this isn’t true. I encountered him in Canada on several occasions and he did and said good things.
That said, in this world people who do and say good things can also do bad things, and the rot runs deep in the hierarchy.
If he did do these sorts of things, I pray he does the honourable and religious thing, repenting and doing penance.
And resigning his offices to do so.
