yes, going back to roman days when the church brought in pagan rituals... and followed with incorporating more and more of these throughout the centuries. Plus it's not a big stretch to go from mary worship to Gia....and other female entities of pagan and false religions. I often have thought it would be the worship of female entities that would be the attraction/draw to unite.

....even here in the US with all the attention focused on woman today in their various groups etc. demanding what they lost in the garden of eden that can only be found in Jesus Christ.....They lost their equality with man ....as was Gd said to Eve......"And your desire shall be to your husband and he shall 'rule' over you'......ever since then women have an inner awareness of this, that was of course restored in Jesus. without Him they cannot recognize that 'freedom'....
