n 1970, Hal Lindsey published The Late Great Planet Earth. The book sold millions of copies and introduced a generation to the miraculous fulfillment of end times bible prophecies in our day and time.
Coming on the heels of World War II, the rebirth of Israel, the Six Day War, and widespread societal upheaval, many were convinced the rapture would take place before the end of the decade. But the 1970's came and went, and Jesus did not return.
Then, in the 1980's and 1990's, numerous bible prophecy books with titles like "Countdown to Armageddon" and "Final Warning" sold all over the world. Again, many people were convinced Jesus would return before the end of the century. Yet Jesus didn't come.
Then the world experienced Y2K, the September 11th terrorist attacks, and the phenomenal success of the Left Behind series. Once again, it seemed as though Jesus would return at any moment. But once again, he didn't. And then something happened. Complacency set it.

There will always be naysayers and always have been. They claim Christianity, but are far removed from it in reality. After all, what kind of Christian claims to love Christ, yet doesn't want to be with Him? Or even hope to be with Him?

Well, except for the fact there’s no archaeological evidence for any of the peoples (other then Joseph Smith’s followers), nor ancient Greek or Hebrew writings to support any of it, except that stolen from a King James Bible.

It’s funny all the different images of that guy. Like the one on TV station in Utah. He seemed to be fair-haired other than some that made his hair look black.
I’ve been to the Temple in Utah (private tour) and also saw the house in IL where he was shot and over to where he’s buried. The RLDS is JS Jr real Mormon religion and they now call themselves The Community of Christ. The setup in Utah is fake Mormonism.
I’ve driven by their big-spire building in Missouri.
Though I haven’t made it to where they think Jesus will return (outside Gallatin, Missouri though some believe Independence, Missouri.)
I believe He will arrive in Jerusalem, Israel BTW. And somewhere around that time make some trek to Edom and return. From what the Scripture states.

Besides being an oxymoron, what is fake Mormonism?
The Bible says a military alliance that includes Russia, Iran, Turkey, and a number of Muslim nations will attack Israel “in the latter days”
No, it does not.
Anyway, why would such a large alliance be needed to take on tiny Israel? Why would they bother? What does Israel have that these nations want or what power do they have that must be destroyed
I think that the globalists took notice of the end time nonsense, which has been quite successful, and decided they would get in on the act with the approaching doom of climate change. There is no difference.
The difference between the LDS and the RLDS (known as the Community of Christ). The LDS church was initially run by Brigham Young who split from Joseph Smith Jr. The true Mormon church is the one in Illinois.
Matthew 24:3-22 (NLT):

And it will never be so great again. 22 In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.
Regarding the “sacrilegious object that causes desecration” (v15) - what could be more of a desecration that a muslim mosque, a temple to Satan, built where the Temple should be?
The reason that it was obvious that Christ was not returning in the first two fad endtimes events was the complacency had not set in.
First Apostasy and “The Great falling away”, THEN Christ returns. NOT Revival.

The Bible also teaches no one knows when the rapture will be, so why not simply preach that fact and since no one knows when the return will be, preach that everyone needs to be prepared.
That will increase the integrity of the preachers. Poor Irvin Baxter. Anytime someone clears their throat near the Euphrates River, it may occur any second. Poor guy, he keeps saying it could be this year for the last 20 years. One year he will be right, though.
