Meaningless. If the jews cannot be made whole as a nation and family, the ishmaelites will not either. HOw can there be brotherhood when the families within their own selves cannot even agree.
This Pope is smoking crack.

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
The Bible is either true or it isn't. Either throw it away and believe what the Pope says, or follow Jesus. Unfortunately you can't do both anymore.

The Roman Catholic Church needs a Christian Pope. How can this be accomplished?

"This is astonishing for a Pope, said Bishop Eleganti, the auxiliary bishop of Chur, Switzerland, in his statement." Matthew 16:23 shows that Jesus rebuked Satan speaking through Peter, Jesus chewing on Peter for not having in mind the things of God, but the things of men.
Sound familiar?
Insights welcome.

Read C.S. Lewis’s seventh book in the Chronicles of Narnia series. It really explains how this comes out. I cannot believe he saw this coming so long ago.

Im beginning to think this pope is evil.

Nope. Not my Pope.
I used to teach Catechism to Catholic kids. I told them the following Scriptural Verse summed up all there is when it came to other (non-Christian) religions and faiths:
The Gospel of Saint John 14: 6
“Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.”

The latter only recently repeated his critique and stressed that this declaration is tantamount to promoting the neglect of the first Commandment and a betrayal of the Gospel. Its a little late:
"the Moslems, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God, who on the last day will judge mankind." - Lumen Gentium 16:
Nostra Aetate's §3 Upon the Moslems, too, the Church looks with esteem. They adore one God, living and enduring, merciful and all-powerful, Maker of heaven and earth and Speaker to men.., They strive to submit wholeheartedly even to His inscrutable decrees, just as did Abraham, with whom the Islamic faith is pleased to associate itself.
Thus those who disagree with such statements must be part of one of the traditionalist sects, perhaps even to the degree of being dissident schismatics, or at least what Rome used to call such, belonging in one of the schisms, with some calling charging that those in another are heretics, along with the pope. Each one claiming to be the true Catholics.

The NT sure has a LOT of things to say about certain 'teachings' that do
NOT conform to the GOSPEL that was once delivered to the saints.

I personally therefore do not believe in its success also because the indispensable help of the Sacraments,
of God's justifying Grace in the Faith, and of the mediation of the Virgin Mary who is highly cherished in Islam is simply missing.
How can anyone who stress these, be against anything else not found in the bible?

Good article. Thanks.
I guess the rhetorical question " Is the Pope Catholic?" is no longer valid.
