Buttwipe doesn’t get to be mayor of South Bend without the votes from ND students and faculty.
Notre Dame’s campus is mostly outside the city of South Bend; thus the students can’t vote in municipal South Bend elections.
That said, the Petester is a real stain on northern Indiana.
