As Catholics, we do not idolize or worship these blessed artworks.

We are ***venerating*** this image of Saint Mother Earth!

We need no haters on this thread.

Is it from another religion originally? Sure.

But we incorporated it into The One True Church founded on Peter.

It is now sanctified, like so many of our rich practices, like incense, temples dedicated to saints, Holy feasts dedicated to saints, Holy water, the altar, the worldly costumes or priest wear, praying to saints, and do much more!
